我们的创意礼品及宗教礼仪用品所带来的收益，将用于支持天主教团体，特别是德来小妹妹会（The Little Sisters of St. Thérèse of The Child Jesus https://reurl.cc/VY3nXn  )。该修会由雷鸣远神父（Fr. Frédéric Vincent Lebbe）于1929年10月3日在中国河北省创立，至今已有近百年历史，始终承载着天主教信仰的使命，一代又一代的修女们默默为主耶稣基督服务。

从中国到台湾，再扩展至美国、加拿大、东南亚，最终又回到中国大陆，德来小妹妹始终扎根当地，照顾最需要帮助的人。修会秉持 服务贫困者、教育儿童与青少年、提供医疗照护及照顾老人 的宗旨，在加拿大温哥华、美国纽约、越南胡志明和菲律宾等地设立分会，并以低调的方式深入中国大陆各省城乡包括河北、陕西......等地，默默耕耘，开展医疗、教育与社会关怀等服务。

在广袤的中国大地上，无论是沿海都市，还是内陆偏远山区，修会的身影始终出现在最需要帮助的地方。例如，在青藏高原的青海，夏季阳光明媚，白天温暖宜人，但夜晚寒意袭人；而冬季则寒风凛冽，气温可降至零下30℃甚至更低。尽管自然环境严峻，修会成员依然坚持前行，在这样的极端气候下，陪伴当地居民，提供医疗援助和教育资源。而在其他省份的城乡，修会也同样默默奉献，将温暖与希望带到每一个需要帮助的角落。

我们特别为在中国服事的修女们祈祷，也希望透过东道VirtuousPath的奉献，支持她们在当地的使命。她们不仅照顾老人、孤儿及社会底层最弱势的群体，也投入医疗与教育工作，为有需要的人提供实际帮助。此外，在加拿大和美国，许多移民虽然来到新天地，却仍面临经济或生活上的诸多挑战。修女们以耶稣基督的慈爱为榜样，透过慈善服务和社会关怀的实践，陪伴他们度过难关，帮助他们融入新环境，让福音的爱在人群中具体呈现。

VirtuousPath Orient Arts & Innovations is founded on Catholic faith, dedicated to providing services that integrate faith and culture for Chinese individuals living overseas. Behind us stands a professional team composed of professors and scholars from Catholic seminaries, as well as experts in art and design from Catholic universities. Together, they contribute to the design of creative gifts and religious articles, ensuring that each product embodies both the spirit of Catholic tradition and the essence of Chinese culture.

Our mission is to make the faith more accessible and adaptable to overseas communities.

⚜️Our Mission and Support

The proceeds from our creative gifts and religious ceremonial items will be used to support Catholic communities, especially The Little Sisters of St. Thérèse of The Child Jesus. This congregation was founded by Fr. Frédéric Vincent Lebbe on October 3, 1929, in Hebei Province, China. For nearly a century, it has carried the mission of the Catholic faith, with generations of sisters devoting themselves in silent service to the Lord Jesus Christ.

From China to Taiwan, then expanding to the United States, Canada, and Southeast Asia, before ultimately returning to mainland China, the Little Sisters of the Poor have always remained rooted in local communities, caring for those most in need. The congregation upholds its mission of serving the poor, educating children and youth, providing medical care, and caring for the elderly. It has established branches in Vancouver, Canada; New York, USA; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and the Philippines. At the same time, it works discreetly across urban and rural areas in various provinces of mainland China, quietly carrying out medical, educational, and social care services.

Across the vast land of China, whether in coastal cities or remote inland regions, the congregation is always present where help is most needed. For instance, in Qinghai on the Tibetan Plateau, summers are bright and warm during the day, yet the nights are chilly; winters, on the other hand, are harsh, with biting winds and temperatures dropping to -30°C or even lower. Despite the extreme climate, the congregation’s members persevere, standing by the local communities, offering medical assistance and educational resources. Likewise, in other provinces, they continue their quiet dedication, bringing warmth and hope to every corner where their help is needed.

⚜️Join Us in This Mission

We pray especially for the sisters serving in China and hope that, through VirtuousPath’s contributions, we can support their mission. These devoted sisters care for the elderly, orphans, and the most vulnerable members of society, while also providing medical and educational services to those in need.

Additionally, many immigrants in Canada and the United States face significant economic and life challenges after moving to a new land. Inspired by the love of Jesus Christ, the sisters engage in charitable and social service work, helping immigrants integrate into their new communities and overcome difficulties. Their mission is a concrete manifestation of the Gospel’s love among people.

We invite everyone—those who are willing and able—to join us in this mission of love and service. Whether through donations, volunteer work, or other means of support, your participation can help the sisters continue their work and extend care to more people in need.

⚜️The Little Flower Mission: A Global Faith Initiative

To further spread the Gospel, nurture faith, and encourage Chinese Catholics worldwide to live out their beliefs in daily life, we have established The Little Flower Mission (小花使命团), a lay-led initiative. Its mission is to deepen understanding of Catholic teachings and traditions through spiritual formation and evangelization while fostering the Gospel spirit globally.

We warmly welcome more people to join us in becoming witnesses of Christ, sowing the seeds of faith across the world.

⚜️ Spiritual Formation and Faith Exploration 

For spiritual growth and faith exploration, we use the Chinese Catholic Bible (CCB) as the primary textbook, supplemented by documents from the Vatican’s papacy, the Introduction to Christian Life / Catholic Catechism, and the Daily Bible Reflections as auxiliary learning materials for the mission group. We also incorporate the writings of Sister Thérèse of Lisieux as spiritual guidance to help believers find direction in their daily lives. Additionally, we share writings from Father Vincent Lebbe, Father Bosco Lu, and others, enabling the Chinese community to better understand the history and culture of Catholicism in China, thereby deepening their faith.

The following are the works of the priests that we use:

This evangelistic effort aims to reach the global Chinese community, helping them better understand and spread the Catholic faith, while also sowing the seeds of the Gospel back into China.

族谱不仅是记录家族世系的历史档案，更是承载祖先智慧与精神的珍贵文化遗产。在过去，许多华人家庭都有修订族谱的传统，但随着移民的扩散，许多家谱散失或被遗忘，导致后代难以追溯自己的根源。因此，推动家谱的整理与修订，既是对祖先的尊重，也是让家族记忆得以延续的重要方式。

在天主教信仰中，家族的连结不仅是血缘的延续，更是信仰的传承。每年炼灵月（11月），教会鼓励信徒为亡者祈祷，为祖先的灵魂献弥撒，祈求他们在天主的慈爱中获得安息。这一传统与华人的祭祖观念相呼应，为家族记忆赋予更深的精神意义。此外，在复活节，我们纪念基督的复活，也象征着生命的延续，这正如家族的历史代代相传，提醒我们不忘根本。

通过敬天祭祖，华人不仅能表达对祖先的感恩，更能在精神上重新找回家族认同。这一传统不仅是个人信仰的实践，更是一种文化教育，让后代在参与过程中理解自身的家族渊源，感受到文化的厚重与责任。无论是春秋二祭，还是清明扫墓，这些仪式都在提醒着我们，祖先的精神长存，文化的根基不移。

A century ago, an accident caused the stories of six Chinese survivors to be forgotten. However, this is not just the fate of six individuals; it is a microcosm of the global history of Chinese migration. From merchants crossing oceans to laborers leaving their homes, and to overseas Chinese integrating into different cultures, the footprints of Chinese people span the globe, yet the cultural foundation has never been severed.

The journey of migration not only shapes individual destinies but also impacts family heritage. Regardless of how times change, clan names, surnames, ancestral worship rituals, and family beliefs remain the bridge connecting the past and the future. In today's globalized world, how do we continue to pass on this cultural identity?

In Chinese culture, surnames are not just symbols of identity; they are also a form of spiritual heritage. Clan names carry the history of the family, recording the struggles and values of ancestors. Today, Chinese communities around the world continue to maintain family connections and express reverence for their ancestors through the use of clan names, surnames, and ancestor worship rituals, embodying a spirit of compassion and gratitude for life. This is not just a tradition; it is also a responsibility—reminding us to remember our roots, our ancestors, and our blessings, while sowing seeds of kindness and appreciation in our hearts. In doing so, we ensure that this cultural legacy blossoms with even more warmth and hope in the days to come.

The continuation of culture is not just about safeguarding the past but also about how to rejuvenate it in modern society. Belief, family identity, and ancestral worship culture are spiritual pillars connecting generations of Chinese. Establishing a prayer space at home not only serves as a place for personal spiritual cultivation but also symbolizes the transmission of family beliefs.

As the steps of Chinese migration expand, cultural transmission goes beyond merely preserving traditions; it merges with local cultures and social environments to form culturally distinctive expressions. This localization process allows traditional culture not only to persist but also to rejuvenate on new soil. By understanding and passing on family surnames and clan name culture, we maintain our connection to the past while planting new cultural seeds in the soil of local culture.

Today, Chinese people are found all over the world, and every family and community carries its own cultural memory. No matter where we are, surnames, clan names, and beliefs remind us that the foundation of culture does not disappear due to distance; instead, it continues through transmission and innovation.

Protecting and transmitting these cultural heritages is not only a respect for history but also a responsibility towards the future. The value of culture lies in its ability to adapt to changes over time, revitalizing itself in today’s globalization, and becoming a common spiritual treasure for all Chinese people.

Footprints continue, roots remain. This is not only the story of the Chinese but also a story that belongs to all of us.

⚜️ Genealogy and Family Records: The Lifeline of Chinese Culture

Genealogy is not only a historical record of family lineage but also a precious cultural heritage that carries the wisdom and spirit of ancestors. In the past, many Chinese families maintained the tradition of revising their family records, but with migration and the passage of time, many genealogies have been lost or forgotten, making it difficult for descendants to trace their roots. Therefore, preserving and updating family records is not only a way to honor ancestors but also an important means of ensuring the continuity of family memory.

In the Catholic faith, family bonds are not just about blood relations but also about the transmission of faith. Every year in the month of November, known as the Month of the Holy Souls, the Church encourages the faithful to pray for the deceased, offering Masses for the souls of ancestors and asking for their eternal rest in God's mercy. This tradition resonates with Chinese ancestral veneration, adding a deeper spiritual dimension to family remembrance. Additionally, Easter, which commemorates the resurrection of Christ, symbolizes the continuation of life—just as family history is passed down through generations, reminding us never to forget our roots.

⚜️ Honoring Heaven and Ancestors: A Ritual Connecting the Past and the Future

Through ancestral veneration, Chinese people not only express gratitude to their forebears but also rediscover their family identity on a spiritual level. This tradition is not only a personal act of faith but also a form of cultural education, allowing younger generations to understand their family heritage and feel the weight of cultural responsibility. Whether through seasonal ancestral rites in spring and autumn or Qingming Festival tomb-sweeping traditions, these ceremonies remind us that the spirit of our ancestors endures and that the foundation of our culture remains unshaken.

In Catholic tradition, family prayer and ancestral veneration can be integrated. During the Christmas season, when families gather, they can not only celebrate God's blessings but also offer special prayers for the repose of their ancestors' souls. Lunar New Year is a time of gratitude and blessings—alongside offering prayers of thanksgiving to God, families can set up a simple prayer corner at home, light candles or incense, and silently pray for ancestral protection.

Moreover, in daily life, we can incorporate acts of devotion, such as Friday fasting and prayer, as a spiritual exercise in honoring both God and our ancestors. Family gatherings, birthdays, and wedding anniversaries can also be occasions for brief family prayers or ancestral remembrance ceremonies, reinforcing the importance of cherishing family traditions.

The continuation of culture is not just about preserving the past but about revitalizing it in modern society. Faith, family identity, and ancestral veneration serve as spiritual pillars that connect generations of Chinese people. By integrating Catholic traditions with ancestral veneration, we can maintain our emotional and spiritual connection with our ancestors while infusing our cultural heritage with new vitality. In an era of globalization, this fusion ensures that our traditions continue to flourish, bringing warmth and hope to future generations.
